Kuwait National Days Celebrated In Unprecedented Manner
For the sons and daughters of Kuwait, this country is more than just a home and they miss Kuwait when they are away.
This was clearly evident when a Kuwaiti woman who is a student in United Kingdom celebrated the National Day and Liberation Day of Kuwait in an unprecedented manner, “I bought a lot of foodstuff, and placed them under the flag of Kuwait in Manchester City after which I distributed the food to the needy and the homeless people”, she said.
Kuwaitis in Britain were inspired by this initiative of the Kuwaiti student and helped by buying additional quantities of foodstuff and playing Kuwaiti national songs at the heart of Manchester City.
The needy people thanked the Kuwaiti student for the food. Meanwhile, here in Kuwait celebrations of the National Days has once again resulted in uncivilized scenery throughout the country with a tremendous amount of trash dumped in the places of celebrations despite several awareness campaigns carried out in this regard.
Cases of attacks using water bags and other objects against citizens and expatriates as well as many run-over incidents occurred during the celebrations.
