Kuwait International Airport Receives The 1st Direct Flights From London

The first direct flights arrived from London on Kuwait Airways, carrying dozens of citizens and their first-degree relatives who were stranded abroad.

An official source told that the London trip is the first direct flight coming from the banned countries, as these trips have been designated to transport stranded citizens and their first-class relatives, and that does not mean the return of commercial trips with the banned countries.

The source stated that the reception of the flights proceeded according to the operating plan drawn up by the devices operating at Kuwait International Airport, whereby passengers are received, their data checked, and registered in the “Slonak” program, and to ensure that they carry a PCR examination certificate, as well as conducting additional swabs for travelers. The source indicated that the total incoming flights for tomorrow, Sunday, amounted to about 26 flights, including 4 additional flights, and Dubai and Turkey topped the top destinations coming to the country, as the number of flights coming from Dubai reached 10 and 5 from Turkey.
