Jobs Of Kuwaiti, Expat Teachers On Hold

The Ministry of Education has suspended the work for newly appointed faculty members (both Kuwaitis and expatriates) until the end of the 2020/2021 academic year including those who finally obtained medical test certificates, reports Al-Rai daily. According to an educational source, the surplus job grades for contracting with members of the educational staff amounted to about 800 job positions so far but the ministry’s need does not exceed 500 teachers. He said, “The administrative sector is awaiting the announcement of local contracts by the Undersecretary of the Ministry to start receiving online job applications on the ministry’s website.”
