In Three Days, 680 Expatriates Were Deported

From May 27 to May 29, the Ministry of Interior deported 680 expatriates to their respective countries.

Al-Qabas daily reported that eight Asian and African nationalities were deported from Talha Prison after deportation orders were issued.

Prior to their deportation, all deportees were fingerprinted and photographed, and all procedures related to their deportation process were completed within record time.

Deportation reasons ranged from administrative deportation to criminal court verdicts, as well as those found in violation of residence and labor laws.

Based on the sources, the deportation of such a large number of expatriates in just three days was the first in recent years in terms of numbers, which confirms that the deportation prison works to speed up the deportation process so that deportees do not remain behind bars for long periods like they used to.
