In Fahaheel, Police Bust A Factory Producing 'imported Liquor'
Officers from the Fahaheel police station raided an apartment that had been converted into an illicit liquor manufacturing facility. Based on information that the apartment was being used for liquor production, this operation was conducted. Upon entering the hideout, security officers discovered four expatriates, along with a cache of illicit items, including 100 bottles of imported liquor, 1000 bottles of locally produced liquor, barrels filled with liquor, and specialized equipment designed for the production of liquor.
According to a credible security source, the expatriates admitted to importing empty liquor bottles as well as preparing supplies from overseas, then marketing them as imported liquor. Brigadier General Muhammed Mutlaq, the Director General of Ahmadi Security, immediately ordered the initiation of legal proceedings and instructed Major Ghanim Al-Otaibi, the area commander, to execute a parliamentary warrant as soon as he was informed of the situation.
The four individuals involved in this unlawful enterprise, along with the confiscated contraband, were handed over to the appropriate authorities for further investigation.
