Delivery Workers Are Free Of Corona Virus - Ministerial Source

A ministerial source revealed that the delivery workers are free of Corona virus so far, stressing that the concerned authorities are keen to spare the country any loophole that turns into hotbeds for the spread of infection.

Meanwhile, the Director General of the Municipality, Mr. Ahmed Al-Manfouhi, announced the cancellation of 1923 permits to serve food delivery requests for violating health requirements, indicating that the total permits issued by the municipality amounted to 4705 permits, bringing the current effective number to only 2785 permits.

Al-Manfouhi said that the supervisory teams monitored the violations committed by the authorities that obtained the electronic permits, revealing that the municipality will submit to the Ministry of Interior a list of the names of workers engaged in delivery service even though their sponsorship is not at restaurants, after they have been monitored by the municipality’s field teams in cooperation with the competent authorities.
