Traffic Cop Hit

Police have arrested and referred for interrogation an unidentified Kuwaiti woman who is believed to be in her 50s for driving against the flow of traffic, disobeying police orders to stop and deliberately colliding with a police vehicle in a vain attempt to escape, reports Al-Rai daily.

The woman reportedly continued driving until she reached the Fahd Al-Salem Street and when the patrolman blocked the road to prevent the woman from causing harm to other road users, she deliberately collided with his vehicle and hurled insults at the man in police uniform.

She was allegedly prevented from travel abroad because of causing harm to the country’s reputation overseas.

The injured patrolman has been referred to the Amiri Hospital.
