Coronavirus Case Detected In Farwaniya Residential Building
A residential building in Farwaniya area was placed under quarantine after it came to light a suspected coronavirus infection was detected, reported Al Anba. A medical clinic was operating in the building, which also has residential apartments. The security authorities up three patrol vehicles and security officers around the vicinity to prevent any person from exiting or entering the building.
This comes as just last week a residential building in Salmiya area housing around 150 Asian workers was quarantined after the discovery of suspected coronavirus cases.
Teams of health inspectors have been taking random samples from residents of buildings during raids conducted in various parts of the country as part of precautionary measures against the spread of COVID-19.
Last week a residential building in Jleeb was placed under observation after samples from 25 Asians residing in the building tested positive for the coronavirus. Meanwhile, 27 other cases were suspected in a building at Mahboula, and the nine residents were quarantined at the isolation ward and the rest discharged.
