Can I Sponsor Visa For My Parent's Visa In Kuwait?

The General Department of Residency Affairs decides whether to sponsor parents in Kuwait, and it is a subject of humanitarian requests. As per the law, you are not permitted to sponsor your parents, no matter what your income is. 

In case you are the sole provider for your parents, you can make a humanitarian request for your parents since they are aging and live all alone there. 

If your parents are unable to work due to their aging or incapacity, you may be required to provide proof of their dependency.

It is possible, in this circumstance, that the Residency department will consider your request for sponsorship of your parents in Kuwait.

Documents needed to make a request: 

1. Salary Certificate

2. Work Permit Ithama Thokia

3. Passport Copy

4. Civil ID Copy

5. Relationship certificate from the embassy with all members of the family details.

6. A paper from the riggae court is needed if you are a single child and your parents are dependent on you.

Upon your request, the Embassy will provide you with a letter stating that you are a single parent. However, it will not be on letterhead and will not be signed by the foreign ministry

Visit the Residency Department at Farwaniya with all the required documents.
