Camp Reservations Are Temporarily Halted For Security Reasons

A local newspaper was informed by informed sources that the municipality temporarily halted the electronic reservation of camping sites just a week after it opened for camping license applications. Following the Zionist aggression on Gaza, it was necessary to alter the coordinates of certain previously designated sites due to ongoing events and tensions in the region.

One week after opening license applications, the municipality temporarily suspended camping site reservations.

According to security sources, the municipality was requested by liaison officers to facilitate communication between Kuwaiti and coalition forces at the Arifjan military base. Spring camps near the base were to be located at a distance of 3.5 kilometers instead of 2.5 kilometers, as requested in the request.

According to the sources, the request is closely related to the current security situation in the region, particularly given recent precautionary measures taken by American forces in the Middle East.

Upon receiving the request, the municipality promptly suspended the issuance of camp licenses through its website until the necessary coordinate modifications were made. It was requested, however, that the information systems authorities swiftly reopen the website in order to facilitate the application process for camping licenses.

Prior to approving any campsite, the source clarified, the municipality coordinates with relevant government agencies, including the Ministry of Defense, in accordance with standard procedures. Any amendments that prioritize the security and safety of the country will be made by the municipality.
