Budget For Salaries Of Moe Employees Reach Kd1.9 Billion For Fiscal 2019/2020
Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs in the Ministry of Education Yousif Al-Najaar said the budget for salaries of the ministry’s employees reached KD1.9 billion for fiscal 2019/2020 while the remaining amount in the approved budget is only KD200 million and this is allocated for projects, maintenance, furniture, books and other items, reports Al-Rai daily.
Al-Najaar assured the daily that the preparation for the next school year is going on without obstacles, noting the completion of the maintenance contract of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Educational District in the State Audit Bureau while the remaining contracts will be adopted soon. He affirmed the availability of furniture and books for 20 new schools which will open in the next school year. He added the first batch of the budget for schools will be transferred to them in August
