Bahraini Deputy Pm Praises Late Kuwaiti Amir “big Brother, Companion”

Bahrain Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Mubarak AlKhalifa mourned late Kuwaiti Amir His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, saying he missed a “big brother and a companion.” “It is with great sorrow we bid farewell to His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, I have lost a big brother and a companion from whom I learned a lot from his character, his love of people and philanthropy,” Sheikh Mohammad said in a statement on sidelines of a quick visit to Kuwait to offer condolences on passing away of the Amir.

He said His Highness the Amir was the Amir of “wisdom and peace … and I personally witnessed his honorable humanitarian and national positions.” Kuwait, Gulf, and Arab and Islamic nations and the world have lost an iconic leader, who contributed to the establishment of the Gulf Cooperation Council, solving conflicts at Arab and Islamic levels and being a true believer in peace and stability, he said.
