Securitymen from the General Department for Residency Affairs arrested an Asian for trading in visas, as he collected money for bringing Indian laborers into the country under the sponsorship of Kuwaitis, reports Al- Seyassah daily. Acting on a tip-off, the securitymen put the suspect under surveillance until he was caught redhanded in one of the residency affairs sections with several visa applications, passport of an expatriate and civil ID card of a Kuwaiti in his possession. During interrogation, the suspect disclosed he collected KD 600 for each visa – KD 500 for the sponsor and KD 100 for him.
