In response to the Municipal Council's decision to relocate private schools situated in private and model housing areas, the Legal and Financial Committee has filed four grievances submitted by these schools.

During the committee's recent meeting, Fahd Al-Abduljader, the committee's head, elucidated the rationale behind lodging these grievances, citing the ongoing judicial process concerning the matter. He emphasized the committee's decision to retain the Kuwait Insurance Federation's documentation on its agenda, focusing on the addition of new activities to the list of public establishments deemed disruptive to comfort and detrimental to health.

Al-Abduljader noted that the communication from the Kuwaiti Association for Small and Medium Enterprises, advocating for the exemption of small and medium enterprises from municipal fees, has been referred back to the executive body for further consideration.

Furthermore, the committee has endorsed a proposal by member Munira Al-Amir aimed at establishing a mechanism for resolving disputes between citizens and contracting and construction companies, confirming the approval of the proposal.
