All Dues For Expat Teachers Will Be Paid Soon By The Ministry Of Education
Several expatriate teachers whose services had ended and their administrative and financial procedures had been delayed received assurances from the Ministry of Education. Through the Civil Service Bureau, as now this is finally transferred to the Ministry of Education.
According to Youssef Al-Najjar, Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs at the Ministry, expatriate teachers will receive their rewards after the official approval of the financial transfer.
Moreover, the Ministry of Finance approved a request from the Ministry of Education for a financial transfer to provide end-of-service benefits for expatriate teachers during the 2022/23 academic year. A total of two million dinars will be sufficient to pay end-of-service benefits to all teachers.
In accordance with the ministry's approved budget for the current fiscal year, the financial sector is rearranging spending priorities across all sectors to implement projects included in the government's work program. In addition, 100,000 dinars were approved for four educational projects that are part of the development plan this year.
