Air India Announces Schedule For Vande Bharath Flights From Kuwait
As part of Vande Bharath Mission (VBM) phase 5, Government of India announced the schedule of Air India flights from Kuwait during the first week of August.
As per the schedule, Air India will operate flights to Chennai on August 2, Hyderabad on August 3, Bengaluru (August 4), Delhi (August 5) and Mumbai of August 6.
Meanwhile, the uncertainty in phase 4 operations from Kuwait continues as server services were cancelled in the past few days. In addition to VBM services, several charter flights also were cancelled for the past one week, creating a lot of trouble for passengers, most of them lost their job in Kuwait. Many had vacated their home, hoping to leave the country before the end of this month. The cancellation of flights forced them to stay back looking fo places to stay.
According to sources, Indian civil aviation had stopped all flights from Kuwait until 31st of this month. The starting of Air India service from August 1st week gives some hope for them.
