92 Shops Shut And 234 Citations Issued In Jleeb

Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) continues to hold fire prevention campaigns in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area under the direct supervision of the Deputy Director General of Fire Prevention Sector Major General Khalid Abdullah Fahad with the aim of removing fire prevention violations, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

In a press release, Director of Fire Prevention Sector in Farwaniya Governorate Brigadier Abdullah Al-Dousari explained that the campaign, which was carried out by the Joint Committee for Following-up Situations in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, covered 435 shops and buildings.

The officials issued 234 citations and closed down 92 shops for violations. He declared that the inspection teams have been working in the mornings and evenings for one month to remove everything that distorts the image of Kuwait and expose lives and properties to danger.
