The concerned authorities continued their inspection tours to implement health requirements in establishments, markets, shops, and activities.

The women’s teams affiliated with the Health Requirements Committee have recorded 1,000 violations against wedding halls and women’s facilities for ‘disregarding’ preventive measures, including workers’ failure to wear masks, not providing sterilizers, and other observations.

Al-Qabas accompanied the inspection team headed by the Director of the Technical Staff Department of the Advisory Committee for Supervising Commodities and Determining their Prices, Faisal Al-Ansari, during one of the inspection campaigns he carried out at a commercial complex in the Capital, during which he recorded several violations for the establishments’ failure to comply with health requirements.

Al-Ansari told Al-Qabas during January, the inspection team of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Public Authority for Manpower, and the Kuwait Municipality, which includes a group of male and female inspectors, issued more than 430 warning notices to close facilities for violating the health requirements based on the instructions of the Ministry of Health.

He pointed out that about 2,550 field inspection tours were carried out during January, and the inspection teams continue their work during February to target summer activities for children, sports clubs, swimming pools, and others, in the best interest of public safety.
