Body Parts Stolen From Corpse Of A Bangladeshi
The Farwaniya Investigation Department has reportedly refused to file a theft case concerning theft of body parts from the corpse of a Bangladeshi, reports Al- Anba daily.
The department is reportedly waiting for a report from the Farwaniya Hospital before a case can be filed. A security source said this happened when a Bangladeshi went to the Sabah Al-Nasser Police Station and complained that he was ‘informed’ by unidentified persons that the liver and two kidneys had been removed from the corpse of the Bangladeshi.
It is suggested the deceased or one of his first degree relatives may have signed a consent document to donate these body parts in the event of his death. Police are waiting for a report from the hospital.
If the story of the complainant turns out to be false, a case of disturbing the authorities shall be filed against the Bangladeshi
