Work Continues Despite High Infections Of Omicron In Moci
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry says more than 120 employees have been infected with omicron, the new mutant of the coronavirus, in addition to dozens of other employees who have come in contact with them, reports Al-Qabas daily. However, in spite of this the large number of infections, the workflow is not affected, because the ministry had prepared in advance a proactive plan to deal with such circumstances and said the employees were trained to work ‘online’ from home to complete the transactions of companies and individuals without the need to report for work in the ministry. This is in addition to the fact that “Commerce and Industry” is said to have one of the advanced infrastructure among the ministries when it comes to completion of services and transactions for the public.
