Viral Video: Ship Hijack In Middle Of The Sea

Yemen's Houthi rebels have released a video showcasing the hijacking of a cargo ship in the southern Red Sea, just one day after the incident occurred. The footage, shared by the rebels' TV channel Al Masirah, reveals armed individuals descending from a helicopter to take control of the identified vessel, named the Galaxy Leader.

Backed by Iran, the Houthi rebels allege that the ship has ties to Israel. Contrary to this assertion, Israel has denied any connection, stating that the vessel is not Israeli. A spokesperson from the Japanese government has clarified that the ship is operated by Nippon Yusen.
