Vaccination Push In Virus Surge
The Ministry of Health (MoH) is about to embark on a big awareness campaign during the next few days – in many languages and in various places and regions – to encourage people to register for the Covid-19 vaccination platform, and then receive the vaccine, reports Al-Jarida daily. The sources told the daily many workers are unable to visit the vaccination centers; therefore, the Ministry of Health has decided to reach them at their work places, pointing to the expansion of vaccination campaign during the coming period.
The health sources explained that the vaccination centers during the month of Ramadan will work in what the ministry called during ‘comfortable hours’ to provide vaccine during the fasting period and after breaking the fast, whether in the main vaccination center in Mishref or in other centers. However, all these details are expected to be announced within the next few days.
The same sources announced the opening of other vaccination centers soon, as the Ministry targets other segments for vaccination during the next stage, stressing that there is no justification for delay and reluctance to receive the vaccinations, in light of many great indications for the safety and effectiveness of vaccines, as vaccinations in Kuwait are very safe.
