Two Expatriates Arrested For Attempting To Steal Construction Materials

Two expatriates were arrested for attempting to steal construction materials from a project site in Maidan Hawally area along with two other suspects who managed to escape. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the theft, securitymen rushed to the location and caught four individuals in the act of stealing the construction materials. When the suspects started running, securitymen chased them and managed to catch two of them while the other two managed to escape. When questioned, they confessed to stealing construction materials and selling them in scrapyard. The two suspects were referred to the concerned authorities for further investigations while securitymen have launched investigations to find the rest of the suspects using the details provided by the arrested individuals.
