Transfer Of Visa For Graduates

I was working in a company for last 3 years. Due to financial issues the company had to close down and they locally transferred me to their sister concern company this July 2018 with new work permit. Now I have completed just 4 months with them. I have got a good offer from a new company and old company is ready to give me local release.

I want to know will there be any issue in PAM to issue a new work permit for my new company since I just completed 4 months in sister company? I am an engineering graduate with Kuwait Society of Engineers membership.

Answer: Under the Kuwaiti Labour Law a worker who transfers his/her visa to a new sponsor locally is duty-bound to work for the new sponsor for one year if he/she is not a university graduate.

However a worker with a university degree and falling under a similar situation can transfer his/her visa to a new sponsor at any point in time.

Being an engineering graduate, we assume that you graduated with a degree in your field. If our assumption is right, then you will have no problem with PAM in transferring your visa to the new company.
