Hamad Al-Matar, chairman of the parliamentary Education, Culture and Guidance Affairs Committee, revealed that the committee will meet with representatives from the Public Authority for Disabled Affairs and senior officials next Wednesday at the Ministry of Social Affairs. Financial support for disabled nurseries will be discussed in order to determine the reasons for the delay. Some nurseries were forced to close due to the delay, which exacerbated the suffering of guardians of the disabled.

Khalid Al-Otaibi, a MP, said the new prime minister must rectify the mistakes of previous governments. For reforms to be implemented, the path must be changed rather than the names. Dr Nasser Al-Sayegh, a researcher at the US Patent and Trademark Office in the US Department of Commerce, was also welcomed by Deputy National Assembly Speaker Ahmad Al-Shuhoumi.
