The Consumption Of Water Exceeded The Production Rate

There was a 28 million imperial gallon deficit between water consumption and production on the first day of Ramadan, reports say.

According to a report, 433 million gallons of water were consumed on April 2nd, while only 405 million gallons were produced.

As many production facilities are undergoing maintenance during the month of Ramadan, consumption exceeds production. A compensation of 3902.8 million imperial gallons was made from the strategic stockpile, according to the report.

During the summer of last year, 507 million gallons of water were consumed daily.

Consumers are advised to reduce their water and electricity consumption by avoiding waste.
