Tests And Seals Of Voting Machines Are Performed By The Philippine Embassy
In preparation for the Philippine National and Local Election 2022, which will begin on the 10th of April 2022 and will conclude on the 10th of May 2022, representatives of the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait recently held the final testing and sealing (FTS) of voting machines.
The Embassy of the Philippines said the Final Testing and Sealing (FTS) of the Vote Counting Machines (VCMs) was to ensure that all systems would be ready for the upcoming Philippine National and Local Elections 2022. These procedures included diagnostics, open-voting, close-voting, and re-zeroing of the VCMs. Coalition of Filipino Community in Kuwait as well as other Filipino organizations were present to witness and participate in the proceedings. At the event, attendees were given the opportunity to participate in the complete voting procedure, including shading, inserting and casting of the ballot, as well as printing the vote receipt.
As the Embassy prepares to assist overseas Filipinos in Kuwait to exercise their right to vote, the FTS proceedings were successful. Luiz Osorio, VCM and CCS Operator, stated that the FTS proceedings began at 9:00AM and lasted until 5:50PM (Kuwait Time).
The Embassy encourages Filipinos living in Kuwait to check their names on the Certified List of Overseas Voters posted on its website and official Facebook page.
