Security Department Arrested A Kuwaiti Citizen In Possession Of Unlicensed Weapons, Foreign Liquor And Hashish
Foreign liquor, guns found on Kuwaiti citizen , Officers from Weapon Security Department arrested a Kuwaiti citizen in possession of unlicensed weapons and various types of liquor and hashish, says a statement from the Interior Ministry. The arrest followed a tip-off the department received about the citizen keeping unlicensed weapons and ammunition. Security sources said the citizen was placed under surveillance until the information was verified before raiding his apartment where they recovered two unlicensed weapons, in addition to 75 bottles of liquor and hashish. He named other accomplices and security operatives have since embarked on a search for them. Meanwhile, personnel from the Ministry of Interior have arrested three people – two Indians and a Kuwaiti – and seized from them 1,800 bottles of imported alcohol, reports Al-Kuwaitiah daily.
