Paci Introduces E-envelope System
Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) launched a new automated system “e-Envelope” to facilitate services for the general public- citizens and expatriates. The service covers five transactions, which were conducted manually through five machines, reports Al-Rai daily.
The daily quoting sources added the new automated system saves time and effort, as it allows a person to complete the entire transaction via the Internet, whether through desktop computers or mobile phones with ease, including family visa, the renewal service for non-Kuwaiti and first time registration of domestic workers and the like, in addition to data completion service for newborns and the renewal service for citizens.
In addition, sources affirmed that PACI, after completing the delivery of more than 200,000 civil ID cards for the months of March and April, is currently preparing to distribute the cards that were issued last May.
The authority receives clients without appointments from nine in the morning until five in the evening, provided that the card is ready for delivery and the device number is known to the owner of the transaction.
The opening of Ahmadi branch in South Al-Sabahiya eased the pressure on the ID card delivery center in South Surra, where the residents of Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Ahmadi governorates will receive their civil ID cards, in addition to the allocation of Jahra Center to serve residents of the governorate, while South Surra Center is dedicated to the residents of Farwaniya, Hawally and Capital governorates.
