Overwhelming Response For Charter Flights To India
Al Tayer travels of Al Baker group is expected to operate their first charter flight to Chennai as scheduled. "We had already submitted the list of all passengers to our first Chennai flight for clearance and we are expected to fly to Chennai from Kuwait as scheduled," Mr Bobby Thomas of Luxury travels said.
We had received overwhelming enquiries for our charter flights to India and we are forced to stop any further enquires at present. We are preparing the list of all passengers to submit for the State approval, he informed.
Once the approvals are in place we will contact passengers to inform them about confirmation and schedule. "Due to the current situation of COVID - 19 we request passengers not to visit office locations frequently. Passengers who have paid can contact Mr Habib - 65732220 from AlTayer and Mr Jithin Raj from Luxury travels for any refunds," Mr Bobby said.
The company informed that if in any case approvals are turn down full amount will be refunded to each passenger within 2 to 3 working days. As per the government of India procedure, after submitting the passenger list to respective state, clearance may take 3 to 4 working days if all conditions are met.
Earlier, Al Tayer group in coordination with Luxury Travels announced the booking of charter flights to India. "We have received a large number of bookings and are forced to stop taking new registrations as all our scheduled trips are full. Now we are focusing to complete the current schedule. Later if the normal flight operations are not resumed, we will think about further schedule and will announce then, Mr Bobby said.
"Al Tayer Group is happy to help the community in repatriating them to India with all safety measures," Mr Bobby said. The group is giving 60 Kg luggage allowance to each passenger along with 7 kg hand luggage. The company also giving free face shield, small sanitizer bottle, face mask etc., to all passengers free of cost
