Moh Launches Pre-registration Service For Covid-19 Vaccination On Official Website

The Ministry of Health (MoH) has launched a pre-registration service for the COVID-19 vaccination through its official website.

Confirming the news item published in Al Rai daily, Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah affirmed that the vaccination will be provided in the country after recapproved by the international official bodies, expressing his hope that the accreditation will be completed before the end of the current year and then the vaccination campaign will start in multiple stages according to priorities until the end From vaccinating most of the citizens and residents on this good land during the year.

In a statement to reporters about the places of vaccination, Minister Al-Sabah explained that this will be through a hall prepared in the fairgrounds, which may be the largest in the region and the number of vaccinations may reach 10,000 people per day, indicating that preparations are underway for two other sites in Jahra and in Ahmadi as possible centers.

Minister Al-Sabah pointed out a special program has been prepared for organizing vaccinations to save time and ensure the safety of procedures. He noted that the person who is vaccinated will receive a certificate sent to his phone with the mention of the vaccines, its date, and a passport number on the chance he may need it to travel in the future.

As for the vaccine manufacturers contracted, he explained that an agreement has been reached with Astzinica and Pfizer, as well as other 9 vaccines will be selected soon through “Kovacs”, which is the Global Vaccine Alliance.
