Mofa Allows The Education To Enter 429 Saudi Teachers
Arabic local newspaper Alqabas reported that The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially agreed to allow entry to the educational staff who hold Saudi nationality and whose names are listed in the attached lists of the Ministry of Education, which number 429 teachers.
Official sources revealed that the Higher Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergencies, in its meeting nearly two weeks ago, had seen a letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attached to it an educational report bearing the names of Saudi educational staff members working in public education and the extent to which schools needed them in light of the current exceptional circumstances.
Thye indicated that the committee agreed to the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding allowing Saudi teachers to enter with the obligation to implement the health and preventive measures in force in the Ministry of Health in this regard, noting that there is coordination between the Ministries of Education, Foreign Affairs, Interior and the Saudi Embassy in Kuwait at the highest level to grant Saudi teachers a permit from their country and facilitate their exit process And their entry from and to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, especially those living in the Khafji region.
The sources suggested that the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would address the “interior” to circulate the names attached to the inspection of the ports to facilitate the process of exit and entry to and from Kuwait, taking into account compliance with health requirements.
Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, Faisal Maqsid, addressed the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Consular Affairs through an official letter confirming the ministry’s need for the services of about 429 Saudis who are members of the educational body (male-female), and demanded that they be allowed to enter Kuwait as soon as possible after coordination with the Saudi authorities. According to the disclosures, the number of Saudi teachers belonging to the Ahmadi Educational District reached 252, Al-Jahra 54 teachers, the Capital 56 teachers, and about 32 teachers, in addition to 23 teachers from Mubarak Al-Kabeer Educational District, 10 from Farwaniya, and only two from the Religious Education Department.
