Moci, Municipality Intensify Campaigns On Sheep Markets
Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Kuwait Municipality, along with the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, have launched inspection campaigns on sheep markets in various areas to ensure compliance of traders with the approved prices, regulations and conditions, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
During a campaign at Jleeb Al- Shuyoukh sheep market, Head of the Emergency Team at Al-Sadiq Center in Ministry of Commerce and Industry Hamid Al-Dhufairi revealed that no unjustified price hike was detected at the market, affirming that the inspection campaigns will continue round the clock especially during the Eid holidays.
Meanwhile, Acting Supervisor of Public Relations Faisal Al-Osaimi said Kuwait Municipality has set a comprehensive work plan with the cooperation of regulatory bodies in all governorates in preparation for Eid Al-Adha holidays to increase control and monitoring mechanisms concurrently with the “Connect with Us” campaign which is aimed at removal of encroachments on state properties and violating advertisements on all roads and public places.
