Ministry To Speed Up Road Repairs For Citizens' Welfare
During the inauguration of the Ninth International Workshop on the Health and Safety of Construction Structures yesterday, Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, Noura Al-Mashaan, expressed her optimism about expedited road repairs, highlighting their significant impact on citizens’ daily lives. She expressed her confidence in community collaboration to hasten the completion of this crucial task in coordination with the Ministry of Works agencies.
Al-Mashaan underscored the importance of rapid development in the documentary and institutional cycle to align with project implementation requirements, ensuring desired quality and operational efficiency. She emphasized the need for qualified national professionals capable of managing facilities and executing projects effectively.
Pointing out that infrastructure projects constitute 32.36 percent of the government’s work program, Al-Mashaan labeled it a substantial challenge that authorities are vigorously addressing. She stressed the commitment to achieving these objectives in line with the latest engineering and technical standards, leveraging modern technology across all sectors.
The minister’s remarks shed light on the government’s proactive stance towards enhancing infrastructure and ensuring sustainable development, underscoring the paramount importance of efficient project management and community engagement in achieving these goals.
