Kuwaitis Top The List Of Foreign Students In Egypt

The head of the expatriate sector in the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Rasha Kamal said that Kuwaiti students topped the list of foreigners studying in Egypt during the new academic year 2021.

Kamal told Al-Qabas the ministry is issuing daily statistics to find out the number of foreigners coming to study in Egypt, and it was found that Kuwaiti students topped the list among dozens of Arab, African and foreign students who enrolled in Egyptian public and private universities, as well as other institutes and the Al-Azhar University.

Kamal added so far, about 6,000 Kuwaiti students have registered to study in Egyptian universities through the ‘Study in Egypt’ initiative, about 5,000 have been nominated and 3,311 of them have already registered and paid the fees.
