Kuwaitis Offer Their Apartment In Ukraine To Help The Ukrainian People

26 February 2022 Information

After the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Kuwaiti Sultan Faisal Al-Sabeeh has put his flat in Ukraine and all of his food at the disposal of the poor, in keeping with Kuwait's humanitarian tendencies to help the destitute and lend a helping hand.

"There are dozens of Kuwaitis married to Ukrainian women, and there are those who travel to Ukraine for trade, especially electricity trade," Al-Sabeeh told Al-Rai, adding that "my apartment is the least that can be offered in such circumstances," expressing his hope that "the war will end as soon as possible."

He prayed to God Almighty to keep Kuwait and her people safe.

"I believe that most Kuwaitis in Ukraine returned a few days ago," Badran bin Yousef, a Kuwaiti who returned from Ukraine a week ago, told Al-Rai, adding that "during his stay in Ukraine, things were normal, and the Ukrainians did not expect any attack on them, so they were leading their lives as normal."
