Kuwaiti Woman Gets Three Years In Jail For Damaging Luxury Car
A Kuwaiti woman has been sentenced to three years in jail with hard labour for destroying her friend’s luxury vehicle and vandalising its components with the intent to offend and show retribution, Al Seyassah newspaper reported.
According to the case file, the defendant broke the windows of the vehicle and vandalised its components.
The victim’s Lawyer Jarrah Hadi Al Enezi demanded the count hand the defendant the most severe penalties due to crimes of vandalism, and based his case on the provisions of the Penal Code in Articles 222 and 249.
He said that the accused’s crimes are substantiated with evidence that include fingerprints and her presence at the location of the crime, which confirms with conclusive evidence that the accused committed the crime.
