Kuwaiti And Saudi Sentenced To 7 Years In Prison

A Kuwaiti and a Saudi were sentenced to seven years each with hard labor in the case of forgery of Kuwaiti nationality by the Criminal Court. On the basis of the forged documents, the second accused received salary and loans from the State that he had to return to the Treasury.

According to an Arabic daily, the Directorate-General of Nationality and Travel Documents' Search and Follow-Up Department officer testified that his secret investigations revealed that the second accused (the Saudi) had agreed with the first accused (the Kuwaiti) to get forged Kuwaiti passports and IDs in exchange for a sum of money, which he used for all his official transactions and to receive all the Kuwaiti benefits.
