Kuwait Municipality Lifted 12 Vehicles, Nine Boats And A Chalet
Campaigns launched by Kuwait Municipality in Farwaniya and Mubarak Al-Kabeer governorates resulted in the lifting of 12 vehicles, nine boats and a chalet abandoned on the streets and in open spaces in addition to the removal of 3,440 cubic meters of waste materials and confiscation of spoiled fruits and vegetables, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Head of the Public Hygiene and Road Works Department at Farwaniya Municipality Eng Saad Al- Khurainij said the field inspection saw the lifting of four cars, nine boats in Khaitan area, and four cars in Ishbiliya, which were sent to the seizedvehicle garage. He revealed that the campaigns were preceded by various warning stickers placed on the abandoned vehicles, affirming that the grace period offered to the owners of these vehicles is considered as the last because the vehicles will then be taken to the garage and will not be released until the concerned fees are paid. In Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, the Public Hygiene and Road Works Department carried out several field campaigns that included the cleaning of mosque compounds, and several main and inner roads. Almost 3,440 cubic square meters of waste materials were removed, and four cars were lifted and sent to the seized-vehicle garage.
