Kuwait Airport Expects 220,000 Passengers During Eid

DGCA expects 220,000 passengers to and from Kuwait International Airport during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday, specifically from Thursday to April 25.

DGCA's Deputy Director General for Planning and Projects Affairs, Saad Al-Otaibi, confirmed to KUNA that all governmental and non-governmental agencies operating at Kuwait International Airport are ready for the Eid holiday.

According to him, Dubai, Istanbul, Cairo, and Doha are the most traveled destinations during the Eid holidays, as there are estimated to be 110,000 departures and 110,000 arrivals during the same period.

A total of 1,800 flights will be operated, spanning 900 departing and 900 arriving flights, he said, commending the efforts of all government agencies operating at the airport, led by the Ministry of Interior and the General Administration of Customs, as well as the airlines and ground operators.
