Ku Professors Announce Paper-based Exams

A number of professors at Kuwait University(KU) announced their intention to hold quarterly exams in university buildings on paper, reports Al Qabas.

The announcement came despite the letter from the Ministry of Health urging to hold all exams remotely (online).

The professor’s announcement coincided with the beginning of the first semester of the academic year 2021/2020, last Sunday, in announcing the division of degrees of academic courses

At its last council meeting with Ministry of Education, KU deciding to abide by its distance education regulations, which stipulate that quarterly and final exams be held on campus unless the college boards decide otherwise.

However, the fact that the Professors announced the holding of the semester exams on paper and on campus, which prompted sources to question whether this announcement came with the approval of the college councils or not.
