Jinan Mohsin Ramadan Vows To Continue Working On Distribution Of Housing Units
State Minister for Housing and Services Affairs Jinan Mohsin Ramadan has vowed to continue working on the distribution of housing units and buildings in a bid to provide citizens with adequate housing, reports Al-Anba daily.
In a press statement after taking the constitutional oath in front of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Ramadan thanked HH the Amir and HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al- Hamad Al-Sabah for their trust and for giving her a chance to serve the country and its people. She expressed appreciation for the efforts exerted by her predecessor – Yassir Abul, as well as the steps taken by the Public Authority for Housing Welfare and Kuwait Credit Bank to address the housing issue in cooperation with the Housing Affairs Committee and the MPs.
;Meanwhile, Minister of Commerce and Industry, the State Minister for Youth Affairs Khalid Al-Roudhan disclosed his intention to take procedures of the ministry to the next level, reports Al- Rai daily.
Al-Roudhan expressed profound gratitude and appreciation to the wise leadership for renewing trust in him. He stated the next stage requires drastic changes in the concept of the ministry and its role at all levels, which requires continuity of reform and facing responsibilities squarely. He called on all employees of the ministry to be ready for high rate of efficiency, affirming the ministry is moving confidently toward economic policy based on specific procedures to improve the sector. He stressed that eyes will be more open to improve on Kuwait’s ranking in ease of doing business, although the country went six places up to reach 96th position among 190 countries globally.
;Furthermore, the new Minister of Finance Dr Nayef Al-Hajraf expressed his pride and honor over the confidence that His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Prime Minister has shown in him, reports Al-Rai daily. He said he hopes he can take up the responsibility and carry out the tasks in the best possible manner in order to serve the country. Regarding his priorities, Dr Al-Hajraf said the priorities will be declared after the process of handing over, which will be followed by a series of meetings in order to determine the priorities and follow them up.
