Investigation Launched After Inmate Escapes Hospital Custody

His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, has ordered the establishment of an immediate investigation committee to investigate the escape of an inmate from a correctional facility while she was being treated at the hospital.

His Excellency has instructed all necessary actions to be taken swiftly in response to this incident. The General Administration of Criminal Investigation and relevant security sectors have been directed to promptly apprehend the escaped inmate. To prevent any further escape attempts, her information will also be disseminated to all entry and exit points in the country.

Any sightings of the escaped inmate should be reported immediately to the emergency phone number (112).
