In 7 Days, 25,947 Traffic Violations Were Recorded
Over the past seven days, traffic police and rescue police have recorded 25,947 traffic violations. In the week ending November 24, 54 reckless people were arrested and placed in precautionary detention, along with 243 vehicles and 34 motorcycles seized by the Traffic Sector.
A total of 20,979 violations were recorded by traffic police during their campaigns on a number of main and secondary roads. There were 12 juveniles referred to prosecution, 11 people reported absconding were also arrested, and 6 people were sent to the General Administration for Drug Control. A number of intensive security and traffic campaigns were conducted by the General Department of Rescue Police to arrest violators and wanted people.
