Health Fitness Certificates Are Issued To Citizens Via Sahel
Today, the Ministry of Health has launched a new electronic service through the unified government electronic application Sahel, through which citizens can receive the electronic health fitness certificate issued by the General Medical Council for newly appointed employees.
Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed, Minister of Health, issued directives to ensure that the digital transformation is completed and especially that health certificates and other relevant documents are issued so that visitors don't have to visit the General Medical Council. As well as the person's name and civil number, this electronic certificate contains a QR code that is encrypted and can be viewed by the concerned authorities.
Following a series of services the Ministry initiated to be activated through the Sahel application during the past period, the new service comes after a new set of services have been added, including renewing licenses for health practices, translating licenses, changing job titles for health employees, obtaining a certificate of good conduct and activating medicine dispensing links.
In this regard, the Ministry appreciates the tireless efforts of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Digital Health Affairs, Eng. Ahmed Al-Gharib, and the President of the General Medical Council, Dr. Nadia Al-Jumah, and their keenness to speed up the completion of this service, and to link it with the “Sahel” application for the benefit of the citizens, and to save effort and time.
