Group Quarrels In Hawally
Ministry of Interior announced today that security authorities arrested a group of people who were involved in a quarrel in the Hawally area during the break in the full curfew for walking inside residential areas.
The General Directorate of Security Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior stated that these people were referred to the authorities, stating that the necessary legal procedures are underway against them.
The Ministry of Interior stressed the need for all to abide by the laws, and that security will not tolerate anyone breaking the law in order to serve the public interest of the country.
This statement comes after the circulation of a video clip across some social networking sites that shows a quarrel between a group of people of one of the Arab nationalities in the mentioned area.
The Kuwaiti Cabinet imposed from Sunday afternoon until May 30 this year a comprehensive curfew in all parts of the country with the aim of controlling the spread of the coronavirus infection and allotted a two-hour roaming between 4.30 and 6.30 pm.
