Government Resignation To Possible Happen Before The Council Of Ministers On Sunday
The government had not submitted its resignation so far since there were reports that it would do so, but there is a tendency to hold a Council of Ministers meeting on Sunday, instead of the usual date on Monday of every week, which may possibly see the Government resignation, Al Anba daily reported, quoting sources. The sources indicated that the option to resign may be on the meeting table, along with some other measures.
In response to a question about the government’s cooperation with the parliament, the sources replied: There are no more sincere words and no evidence of the government’s interests and desire to cooperate with the National Assembly to achieve the aspirations of citizens that was highlighted in the words of His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al -Khaled, which he delivered at the opening session of the first ordinary session of the legislative term 16 to the National Assembly. During the meeting, he expressed the government’s enthusiasm for supporting a new approach that establishes that the government and the Council of Ministers are partners towards bearing the responsibility of achieving goals in the interest of Kuwait.
The sources added that His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled said: The Council aims to help and support the government in carrying out its mission, so it has spared no effort in strengthening this cooperation and extending its bridges in a way that constitutes the basis for the correct democratic practice that we always look to in order to achieve the aspirations of citizens.
