Flexibility In Working Hours Is Awaiting Csc Approval
Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy said it is waiting for the Civil Service Commission to complete the programming of its integrated system to implement flexible working hours it proposed to the Bureau some time ago.
According to the Al-Rai daily, the Bureau is having difficulties calculating the duration of prior permission granted to employees at certain times, which is why the Ministry has yet to implement a flexible working system for its more than 35,000 employees due to this problem.
It explained it had previously informed the Bureau of its intention to implement flexible working hours for its employees, as it had allocated one flexible hour from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., with an estimated grace period of half an hour, and the Ministry is still waiting for the Bureau's response in order to begin implementation.”
Meanwhile, sources revealed that the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy signed a contract with an international consultant for 5 years to provide internal consulting engineering services for water sector projects.
