Eid Lockdown Eyed For Farms, Chalets
The Ministry of Health is seriously considering submitting recommendations to impose a total ban on chalet and farming areas prior to and during Eid Al-Adha holidays towards the end of this month.
They highlighted that the health conditions in various parts of the country are subject to continuous evaluation, and the need for specific measures or procedures to either be strengthened or mitigated is determined based on the results.
The sources indicated that expectations are high for the release of a comprehensive health evaluation report this week concerning the second phase of the plan for the return to normal life, which started on June 30.
They stressed that limiting gatherings, in consideration of the continuing increase in the number of COVID-19 cases among Kuwaiti citizens mostly due to contact, is one of the most important reasons for the ministry to study the imposition of a total ban on chalet and farming areas for a specific period before and during Eid Al-Adha holidays.
