E Link For Health Sector To Be Established Soon
The electronic link for the transactions and procedures in health districts and entities affiliated to the Health Ministry will be completed this year, reports Al-Anba daily quoting Director of the Public Registry and Work Monitoring Department and Inspection Committee Chairman at the ministry Najeeb Al-Awadi.
Al-Awadi revealed the electronic system will be launched towards the end of this year, indicating it is considered an electronic breakthrough in the health sector as it will greatly contribute to efforts to improve work procedures in a bid to better serve the public.
In another development, Al-Rai daily has reported that the ministry issued a decision to specify the prices of medicines and other pharmaceutical products in Kuwait. Sources said the decision states the need to consider the profit margin in specifying the prices of medicines and food supplements.
Sources from the Medicine Supervision Department confirmed the decision is already published in the official gazette, disclosing it includes stipulations allowing the sale of 84 new medicines and herbs while 86 other medicines are banned.
